Information Sent Directly
A name, telephone number, or address entered into a search form is submitted to the outside provider that supplies results. We do not maintain a separate copy of those searches on our servers. A message sent to us contains only the information in that message, which is used to reply.
Automatic Technical Data
Routine hosting logs can include an IP address, browser type, timestamps, and pages requested. We review them in aggregate for operations and readership patterns. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and, where used, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to operate and troubleshoot the service, measure traffic, answer messages, and improve the reference material. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services and Links
Links may lead to Warren County and Ohio portals, archive collections, libraries, and third-party search services. Those destinations apply their own privacy terms to information submitted there. Sponsored search results are also supplied by an outside company.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers process technical logs required to run the service. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Information is otherwise disclosed only when valid legal process requires it.
Safeguards and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection and retains logs only for the purposes stated above. No user accounts are offered, so no account password or member profile is maintained here.
Visitors Under 18
This reference is intended for adults and is not designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information, contact us so it can be removed.
Your Information Requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to seek access, correction, or deletion of retained personal data. Ohio has no verified general CCPA-style consumer deletion statute; R.C. Chapter 1354 is a business cybersecurity affirmative-defense law, while R.C. Chapter 1347 addresses many agency-held personal-information practices. Because we retain little, a request normally concerns a contact message or available logs. Use the Contact page. Records held by Ohio, Warren County, or Clearcreek Township remain under their custodians' correction and disclosure procedures.
Policy Revisions
Any revision will appear on this page. Continued use after a posted revision means acceptance of the updated policy.
